Well, I think it’s safe to say these were a hit. The mixed version also looks an awful lot like Fruity Pebbles! Which, I have to admit, I’ve never actually had, so I have no emotion toward this comparison. These are navy beans and they turned out perfectly bright.
“They like to Pop, Mama!” These beans are a delight, in touch, sound, and sight. There’s no doubt they will be a fun busy activity for a long while. Scooping, filling, pouring, spreading, splashing, raining colored beans (eehm dinosaur eggs, I mean magical pebbles, I mean magic seeds…).
These sensory materials could potentially be used to teach spatial relationships (i.e. “in” versus “out” versus “on”) in younger babes (supervised obviously as these could pose a risk for kids still mouthing objects) and A found another use for them… pre-writing letters! See the C!
